Proven ability to lead a marketing program through ambiguity in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with minimal oversight while accepting ownership and accountability of the process and delivering on commitments.
High marketing IQ and proficiency with Paid Search, SEO and its role in the wider digital marketing landscape.
Strong understanding of consumer metrics, market segmentation and analytics.
Extensive knowledge of web analytics, algorithm changes, SEO best practices for technical architecture, internal linking, meta tags, crawlability, redirects, sitemaps, app indexation and code quality ranking, bounce rate, and time on site and how these factors fit in the SEO ecosystem.
Experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, Schema.
Familiarity with and interest in Scrum / Agile methodologies and processes.
Extensive experience with SEO research and management tools such as Google and Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Majestic, SEM Rush, Botify, Deepcrawl, Searchmetrics, Screaming Frog, Moz and SpyFu.
Demonstrated skill in delivering results very quickly by taking initiative and building productive relationships.
High level of personal integrity, and value working for an enterprise with a higher mission and vision, above and beyond the typical corporate business.
Exceptional analytical skills, a data-driven approach to decision making and a systems-thinking style when problem solving.
Refined communication and interpersonal skills.


Meet monthly traffic objectives.
Design SEO strategy informed by best practices, competitor's actions, organic performance, analytical insights and relevant trends.
Monitor, analyze and report on our own and competitors' sites for key SEO strategies and metrics, including channel performance, traffic, leads and keywords.
Improve search rankings by managing existing keywords, building optimization plans and identifying new growth opportunities.
Apply fundamental SEO best practices to keyword discovery to support content development.
Build a roadmap of technical and on- and off-page SEO activities. Then prioritize and coordinate this plan with the engineering team to implement it effectively.
Establish and drive link-building initiatives and other domain authority improvement activities.
Monitor SEO metrics and continuously identify areas for improvement.
Drive product UX and conversion optimization initiatives.
Prioritize, develop and launch experiments that accelerate growth.
Manage SEO content development for maximum optimization and rankings including coordinating content calendars, directing content writing resources, and evaluating text for completeness, use of appropriate keywords and internal navigation.
Define user stories and maintain an organized backlog.
Cooperate with software engineers to define and maintain SEO standards, to improve content creation, site architecture, taxonomy, and URL structure.
Design, implement and evaluate SEO A/B tests.
Leverage text, images, videos, user reviews, and author-sourced content to help reach more visitors.
Keep pace with search engine and industry trends and related advancements including UI/UX and algorithm updates to identify opportunities.
Introduce an SEO first mindset throughout the organization, cooperate closely throughout the team to drive SEO content strategy and creation with necessary attention to site architecture, taxonomy, URL structure, crawlability, sitemaps, metadata, code quality and on-page copy.
Monitor and evaluate SEO campaign performance.
Set and meet revenue and growth targets.
