Who are we looking for?
To be successful in this role, it will be an advantage if you have an understanding of the international development sector, and knowledge of key issues in child protection and child care, in different regions and contexts. You will also need experience of working with local CSOs, and experience in coordinating advocacy programmes.
You will be willing to work sometimes outside of designated working hours to allow for the collaboration with colleagues and members located in different international time zones.
Excellent command of English (oral and written) is a must, and a working knowledge of other languages is useful.
A good understanding of, and empathy with, the mission of Family for Every Child is a must.
More details
This role is home-based, and support for home office set up, including IT equipment is available. There is an expectation that regardless of time zone, the job holder will need to work flexibly to support work with colleagues in different time zones.
Key responsibilities
Build and strengthen our advocacy programme
Coordinate and engage in the delivery of high quality advocacy programmes
Support our Ambassadors Programme to strengthen local CSO leadership to influence impact
Coordinate a national programme that delivers demonstrable impact for children in the US
