JOB DESCRIPTION:
ROLE:
Own the technical execution of one or more cutting-edge web products. Champion the use of best practices – agile, versioning, tool usage. Mentor and bring out the best in a talented engineering team. Work closely with product and project managers to plan, coordinate, and deliver according to a high-level product roadmap. Plan and estimates development activities and track them to closure
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and oversee developers through the product design, planning, development, implementation, and product/system test.
Conduct team meetings with product team and other key project team members to go over schedules and operational milestones.
Provide functional, design, and code reviews in related areas of expertise with-in team and cross-team.
Build a highly scalable product right from scratch
Should be well versed with PHP, HTML, MYSQL, Javascript, Jquery.
Understanding of best standards, guidelines etc. and actually cares about adhering to them
Ability to handle complex problems from design to execution and deliver in a time bound manner under constraints.


REQUIRED SKILLS:
Experience working in PHP/MySql and open source CMS like WordPress, Drupal, Joomla or Magento.
Good to have prior experience working on frameworks like Laravel, Symphony or CodeIgniter.
Good to have knowledge in any of the cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure.
Basic understanding of front end technologies like Reactjs, Nextjs, Gatsby, Javascript, HTML5 and CSS3.
Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications.
Should be able to create, modify and use modules and plugins for open source frameworks.
Should have a good understanding on Search Engine Optimization(SEO).
Should have worked on Web Analytics tools like GA/Segment/MixPanel etc
Good to have exposure of google pagespeed/web core vitals/ADA compliance
Should have experience in web performance optimization
A lot of passion for problem solving, programming & web-development.
