Job Description:
Job Purpose
To ensure the O&M related activities of Core Nodes (Ericsson MGW, MSS, HLR, STP, DATA Core nodes SGSN/MME), co-ordination with SNOC and OEM for various HW replacement/SW Upgrade and other system related activities.
Key Result
Areas/Accountabilities
Lead the circuit core, packet core and IMS operations
Alarm monitoring and control on the SA alarms and hardware alarms
Version upgrades and patch loading
CS Traffic rerouting and packet core traffic management
Support for project related activities and planning team coordination
HW replacement of CS Core Nodes
Rollouts of various upgrade of Core nodes as and when required in co-ordination with respective OEM and SNOC with proper planning. Execution of all transformation projects.
KPI monitoring and resolution in coordination with respective stakeholders for Core Nodes
To understand and analyze data related customer complaints and resolution
Inventory Management and coordination with respective OEM for R&R
Co-ordination with SNOC team for resolution of system related issues
Regulatory Compliance for all Core node.
Core Competencies,
Knowledge, Experience
Strong knowledge of MGW, BC, MSS, HLR and STP nodes Ericsson/Nokia domains preferred and Data Core nodes Cisco preferred
Strong knowledge of IP and MPBN nodes CCNA Preferred
Strong knowledge of Telecom technology : 2G , 3G & 4G, VOLTE
Strong understanding of Core architecture and call flows
Knowledge of cloud concepts
Hands-on experience on CS Core Nodes and SGSN/MME/GGSN/MPBN
