Job Description:
Requirements
0-1 years of experience in data engineering.
Experience with Spark, Data Warehouses, Orchestration tools or Cloud is a big bonus
Basic knowledge of Python, SQL and Data Structures.
Interest to learn and work in Data Engineering (very important!)
Bonus points if you are good with competitive programming.
Communication: You like discussing a plan upfront, welcome collaboration, and are an excellent verbal and written communicator.
B.E/ B.Tech/ M.Tech or equivalent experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Build highly scalable and performant data pipelines and systems.
Assist in the testing, maintenance and improvement of our data infrastructure and systems.
Collaborate with senior data engineers and data architects on a variety of data tasks and beyond.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and performance.
Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in data engineering technologies.
Abide by the roles & responsibilities, and guidelines of Velotio information security policies and procedures.
Ensure information security trainings are completed on time without fail.
Report any information security incidents to the IT team as detailed in the Velotio information security policies and procedures.
