Job Description:
Samsung is hiring an experienced System Power, Performance & Memory Optimization Engineer for its Bangalore team. The position requires 8+ years of experience in Android smartphones, mobile systems, or embedded platforms, with strong expertise in system-level power, performance, memory, and latency optimization. The engineer will work across the Android Framework, Native Services, HAL, Binder IPC, Android Runtime, and Linux Kernel to identify and resolve system bottlenecks. Hands-on experience with Camera HAL, Camera Drivers, ISP, Android Camera subsystems, and camera processing pipelines is required. Strong C/C++ programming, Linux Kernel internals, CPU/GPU optimization, memory management, multithreading, concurrency, thermal and power analysis skills are important. The role also involves applying Generative AI tools, researching emerging technologies, and collaborating with Camera, Kernel, Android Framework, Multimedia, Hardware, and Product teams to deliver efficient and high-performance smartphone experiences.
