Job Description:
The Screener will perform baggage screening and threat detection at Mangaluru International Airport.
The role involves operating X-BIS equipment to identify dangerous goods, prohibited articles, weapons, and ammunition.
The candidate will conduct physical baggage inspections and ETD tests when required.
The position requires compliance with BCAS and DGCA aviation security guidelines and organizational SOPs.
The Screener will conduct pre-operational checks of X-BIS, ETD, CT-EDS, and other security equipment.
The role involves coordination with CISF, airline staff, supervisors, airport authorities, and regulatory teams.
Candidates should demonstrate strong security awareness, image interpretation, discipline, communication, and passenger-handling skills.
