Job Description:
Responsibility:
Communicate effectively and work closely with others, i.e. Project Managers, Developers and other testers from the same or across teams and Business owners, etc., when issues/questions arise
•Demonstrates an understanding of the detailed-level functionality and testability of their team's systems
•To constantly assess and analyze the current software development life cycle (SDLC) and subsequently suggest/embed (incremental) improvements to the SDLC
•Work actively with functional delivery by reviewing test scenarios and drive UAT
•To assure that the changes we release to our production environment with the usability and functionality is aligned with Business and clients’ expectations
•To execute on the QA vision of the Dept and strategy within the team, to ensure buy-in and adoption
•Participating in grooming, planning and retrospective sessions, doubling down on quality and promoting a strong QA presence in said meetings
•Responsible for ensuring that regression suite is updated and handover given to RTE team, for the work being done on the team
•Continuously learn more about the product, platform and domain
Mandate:
You must have documented and proven experience with:
Min 8 Years’ experience in a complex software functional/Manual and automation testing skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Min 2-3 Years’ experience development and UI automation using Selenium with C# , Exposure to Specflow\Cucumber(BDD).
Min 2-4 Years’ functional experience in Trading or Capital Markets \ Investment banking Domain.
Fair understanding of C# .Net, Should have hands on exposure in UI and automation using Selenium with C#
Fair knowledge and hands-on to SQL and expertise in handling complex queries
Working knowledge of “Trade life cycle” involving Front office, Middle Office and Back office workflow.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Hands-on experience on API, web service and white box Testing
One or more of the below will be an added advantage:
Automation experience of building scripts on any of the tools like SoapUI, Protractor, Auto IT
Perf Testing via Visual Studio Load Perf Test or JMeter/any other open source
Good knowledge on Fiddler
