Job Description:
The Role: Intern, Web Information Scraping & Extraction
The Team: Web Information Scraping & Extraction group under Data Transformation is a centralized team looking after the web scraping and extraction need across division.
The Impact: The current opening is with one of the company’s support divisions that works on different applications to extract data from different websites and notify to internal customers. As the team provides the data to the product team, the work is very critical and demands relevancy and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
Understanding client requirements and priority. Provide accurate, relevant, and complete solution to the clients
Building web crawlers using various internal and external tools for extraction and deliver relevant data and information to our internal clients
Understand the working of the dataset, workflows and have strong knowledge of workflow tools
Work on projects as an when they come up and ensure that they are completed within the given time span maintaining the desired quality
What We’re Looking For:
Graduation - BCA/B Tech
Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, JS, CSS, and other element identifications.
Having knowledge of SQL and database is preferred. Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment, while following flexible schedule to meet deadlines
Good Communication Skills is a must. Flexibility and attitude for multi-tasking.
Problem-solving and effective Inter-personal skills
