Essential Functions:
Role:
Support engineers globally to troubleshoot & resolves bugs/tickets related to technology platform.
Collaborate with engineers globally to help maintain current NCIS applications, including backup, restore and improving RTO/RPO
Develop, maintain, and test custom monitoring applications utilizing PowerShell, VBS, BAT, SNMP, Syslog, API’s (SOAP/REST), Application, Event, Services, and 3rd Party Builder
Document (Internal/External) application updates, new features, enhancements, modifications and integrations, including entity, unity, competent, system and architectural level.
Identify, define and setup required resources via collaboration or directly to support and implement all related job functions, including lab, virtual and physical entities.
Identify areas where automation can be used to reduce manual effort.
Create and execute all associated unit, functional, system, manual and automated test, documenting results and communicating findings to key stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
Strong PowerShell coding, debugging and usage.
Good source and revision control knowledge and skill set
Working knowledge of Windows and Linux based operating systems.
Familiarity with switches, routers, and firewalls.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skill sets.
Good technical documentation and standard coding skills.
Good written and verbal communication skill to collaborate global teams.
Self-starter who loves learning new technologies
Bonus Qualifications/Characteristics:
Experience with Solarwinds, N-Able or equivalent RMM software solutions.
Experience with Microsoft Azure or similar cloud platform.
Experience with VMware or other virtualization technologies.
Experience with Java/JavaScript/CSS/Selenium/Python.
Experience with Automation Applications with and without API’s.
Experience in conducting acceptance testing, building testing frameworks and automated software testing.
Shift Timing: 1:00pm – 10:00pm IST
