Job Description:
Arm is hiring a Principal Software Engineer in Bangalore, Karnataka, India to lead the development of high-performance networking software for AI applications. The role is part of Arm’s Infrastructure Application Solutions Networking team and focuses on building, architecting, benchmarking, and optimizing the AI networking software stack for Arm platforms. The successful candidate will work across AI data centers, cloud network infrastructure, networking appliances, and Arm-based computing platforms. Candidates should have 15+ years of experience leading software product delivery, strong knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems, data structures, algorithms, multi-core programming, and networking software. Experience with DPDK, VPP, L2-L7 networking, network I/O drivers, RoCE, libFabric, OpenMPI, NCCL, OneCCL, PyTorch, Kubernetes, CNIs, SDN, and CI/CD is highly valuable. This senior leadership position also involves technical mentoring, open-source collaboration, partner engagement, system architecture, product definition, and global customer collaboration.
