Job Description:
Arm is hiring a Principal SOC Modeling Engineer in Bangalore, Karnataka, India to work on its next-generation Arm-based systems, SoC modeling, virtual platforms, and Fast Models. The role focuses on developing high-performance functional models of CPUs, system-level IP, and complete reference platforms using C++, SystemC, and SystemC TLM. The engineer will enable early firmware, operating system, and application development before physical silicon becomes available. Candidates should have 15–20 years of experience, strong C/C++ programming, knowledge of computer architecture, microarchitecture, SoC/IP design, and experience with Git/Gerrit. Experience with RISC architectures, CPU instruction sets, virtual platforms, hardware/software integration, debugging, testing, and performance optimization is highly relevant. This is a senior technical opportunity involving collaboration with hardware architects, RTL designers, software engineers, and global engineering teams.V
