Job Description:
Responsibilities
§ Develop and refine prioritized product needs based on insights from market research, competitive analysis, customer engagement, business needs, and collaboration with subject matter experts
§ Collaborate with your product peers to prioritize problems to solve, make trade-off decisions, and ultimately translate your priorities into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
§ Own the successful delivery of your roadmap and co-own the success of the overall product
§ Effectively identify and manage cross-team dependencies
§ Build effective relationships that matter with engineering, design, QA, marketing, and a variety of cross-functional stakeholders
§ Develop communications material, value propositions, and high-level strategic justification to help explain the why of your product both internally and externally
§ Develop relationships with customers and prospects, gather and understand customer feedback on existing products and products in development, and conduct effective interviews to better understand the context, pressures, and complete understanding of the problems they need to solve to deliver the right solution
§ Communicate the vision of the product, value proposition, and release goals to the cross-functional team as part of the release planning process
Required Knowledge and Skills
§ Understands the industry, market, and product/service trends affecting the organization’s competitiveness
§ Keeps abreast of business, industry, and market information that may reveal business opportunities
§ Works cooperatively with others to produce innovative solutions communicating effectively across different organization levels
§ Expert on features and product
§ Uses common tools to create mockups, stories, and roadmaps
§ Measures and tracks customer satisfaction throughout product development
§ Recognizes the business concerns and perspectives of others
Basic Qualifications
§ Bachelor’s degree
§ 2 years cloud/SaaS product management experience
§ Excellent communication and collaboration skills
§ Customer centric mindset
§ Ability to lead agile teams effectively
