Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS :
- Prepare reports on companies under coverage and on broader industry trends
- Create and maintain financial models of companies under coverage and conduct valuation analysis
- Develop in-depth industry knowledge of various sectors
- Interpret data and perform channel checks on industry and competitive outlook
Basic Qualifications :
- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking or equity research role
- Excellent modeling skills are required as well as a solid grounding in accounting/financial fundamentals
- MBA/CA/CFA or an undergraduate Degree in finance with a strong academic track record
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Comfortable taking initiatives and being resourceful/entrepreneurial
- Attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and teamwork skills
- Highly analytical thinker and writer
- Demonstrable time management and prioritization skills desirable
