Job Description:
Airbus India is hiring a Lead Software Engineer – Big Data for its Bangalore team. The role focuses on the Airbus Skywise ecosystem, Palantir, Apache Spark, and large-scale data engineering. Candidates should have 7+ years of IT experience, including at least 4 years of hands-on Palantir Skywise development and 3 years of customer-facing experience with European customers. Strong skills in PySpark, Spark SQL, Python, Java, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, Polars, and DuckDB are required. Experience with Skywise Workshop, Slate, Object Explorer, and Foundry Ontology is important. The role includes technical leadership, source-code auditing, performance optimization, root-cause analysis, technical standards, and team mentoring.
