Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement financial strategies to support the business objectives of the company.
Oversee the financial activities of the organization, forecasting, cash management and financial reporting.
Responsible for leading the organization’s budgeting process, including analyzing variances and ensuring that the budget is aligned with long-term strategic plans.
Develop and maintain internal controls, as well as risk management and compliance processes.
Monitor, analyze and report on the financial performance of the organization.
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, and provide insights to inform decision-making.
Develop relationships with outside investors, banks, and other sources of capital, while working with the executive team to ensure the financial health of the organization. This would involve raising equity and debt for the company.
Negotiate financial contracts, agreements and transactions.
Responsible for liasioning with external auditors and advisors and preparing books of the company
Lead, coach and develop the finance team to ensure resources are maximized.
Responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations, including cash flow management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll
Responsible for analyzing the financial performance of the Organization and making recommendations for improvement.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
Serve as a thought leader and strategic advisor to the executive team.
Requirements:
Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or other related field.
CA/CFA or other relevant professional cert
Proven experience as CFO or similar role.
Minimum professional experience of 10 years as finance controller or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
Familiarity with financial analysis and forecasting methods
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
High degree of integrity and reliability.
