Job Description:
Responsible for installation, configuration and maintenance of Unix operating system and all related systems
Detect and diagnose all Unix related problems.
Responsible for recovery and backup process.
Installation, Configuration and troubleshooting knowledge of Veritas Volume Manager, Veritas Cluster Server and Veritas Netbackup Client.
Understanding of Network OSI Model, TCP/IP and Routing.
Good knowledge of RAID Levels such as RAID-0, RAID-1, RAID-1+0, RAID-5.
Working experience on SAN /NAS storage with ability to lead incidents in real time towards resolution.
Configuring EMC/Hitachi LUNs on UNIX servers.
