-Responsibilities Design Engineer
-Create design concepts and drawings to determine the best products.
-Coordinate and to be the interface between production and product development team to ensure required design concepts are delivered.
-Defining cutlist and bill of material for products
-Product cost calculation and cost comparison of product at panel level.
-Technical detail evaluation of hardware and onboarding by doing right proto checks.
-To track catalog changes/updates take up ownership of integration of changes to front end platforms
-Value engineering of products to match the front end requirement in terms of design/cost other parameters to increase volumes
-Reverse engineering of catalogue products to achieve higher order value and customer satisfaction
-Techniques of data creation and defining format for data management.
-Defining construction and installation principle for all new and existing catalogue products
-Training back end team on new products and make sure product is adapted efficiently
-Tracking feedback from cross functional teams for improvisation of products
#Job Requirement
Requirement:
-Should carry product-building experiences.
-Good product knowledge and presentation skills
-Should have good data handling and analytical skills
-Experience in 2D/3D Design tools
-Hands on Autocad and Sketchup is must
