Job Description:
The Head Environment will lead environmental stewardship, regulatory compliance, and sustainability performance across Vedanta Alumina Business.
The role will manage environmental risks, statutory compliance, waste and water management, emissions control, and sustainability initiatives.
The candidate will ensure compliance with Environmental Clearances, CTE, CTO, and environmental regulations.
The position will drive Zero Harm, Zero Waste, and Zero Discharge objectives.
Responsibilities include environmental monitoring, pollution control, ISO 14001, and VSAP compliance.
The role requires strong stakeholder management with regulatory authorities, auditors, consultants, and external agencies.
The candidate will lead environmental teams and build a culture of sustainability, accountability, and continuous improvement.
