JOB DESCRIPTION
Saks Cloud Services is looking for a Sr Service Integration Engineer to join the newly formed Integration Services team. In this role you will be responsible for architecting, building and managing the integration platforms, process, deployments, and defining the frameworks utilized for integration for the company.
What you will do
Drive the strategic vision for data integration across all applicable areas
Drive the highest levels of customer service and stability
Define and manage integration services including Streaming and Rest based services
Monitor the environment to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues
Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve complex problems impacting service levels
Configure alerts on the system to identify issues before they cause system outages
Foster technical and procedural excellence within the IT department for all systems and processes
Coordinate with other IT departments to facilitate requirements, and objectives, and manage Incidents
Define and implement integration standards across the enterprise
Roadmap and Implement necessary products and processes to keep integration platforms current, stable, and secure
Focus on automation of data and integration needs across the enterprise
Participate in after-hours escalations and maintenance as needed
Partner with IT management and internal customers to communicate and implement necessary changes to keep the integration environments current, stable, and secure
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
4+ years of proven information technology experience as an integration professional with a focus on industry standards and best practices
3+ years of experience with IBM Websphere Message Broker, MQ, or ACE preferred
3+ years of experience with Mulesoft preferred
Knowledge of Kafka and Akka streaming platforms preferred
Experience automating process and procedural workflows for application integration
Experience with current frameworks for integration
Experience with Oracle, SQLServer, PostGres, and Snowflake preferred
Experience with AWS cloud computing preferred
