Essential
· Should have expertise in UNIX Administration HP UX/AIX/Solaris/Linux
· Should have knowledge of Unix Operating System (HPUX, AIX and Oracle Solaris) including Installation, User Administration and Kernel parameters and Troubleshooting.
· Should have knowledge of File System including LVM Administration, Service Guard Cluster setup and Management.
· Should have hands on experience in Patch Installation and Management.
· Should have hands on experience in Server Hardening.
· Should have hands on experience in Business copy volume setup and management.
· Should have knowledge of different Storage and Backup Technologies including setup and maintenance.
· Should have knowledge of Networking including configuration and maintenance.
Essential
· Should have Operational and Troubleshooting Knowledge of HPUX 10.x, 11.x SOlaris, AIX, Linux Operating Systems
· Should be able to handle advanced calls related to User Management, Group Management, System Startup, Service Modification, Scheduling (crontab entries), ACL modification, File System Management, Root Administration, ignite backups etc.
· Should have hands on experience in Server Management, Backup, Enterprise Server Management tools like (Open view, Tivoli, Big- brother) etc.
· Should have hands on experience in any Backup Management software (i.e.VERITAS, Onmiback etc.)
· Should have working knowledge of clustering Technology (like MC Service guard/ SUN/ Veritas cluster/AIX Cluster).
· Should have working knowledge of performance tuning.
