Job Description:
ASIC Engineer – Infrastructure Specialist responsible for embedded firmware development for Meta’s next-generation ASIC platforms.
Design and develop secure bootloaders for advanced data-center chips.
Develop and debug firmware for custom SoCs used in data-center solutions.
Work across hardware architecture, firmware implementation, FPGA debug, and chip bring-up.
Develop BootROM, low-level device drivers, and RTOS-based platform firmware.
Implement power management, scheduling, inter-processor communication, and firmware interfaces.
Collaborate with silicon architects, hardware designers, OS teams, and algorithm teams.
Troubleshoot complex firmware development, performance, and system evaluation issues.
Support embedded systems running on RTOS and bare-metal environments.
Contribute to long-term firmware and silicon roadmaps for future infrastructure platforms.
