Job Description:
Amazon is looking for an Applied Scientist to join the Competitive Monitoring Technology (CMT) team and work on advanced Machine Learning, Deep Learning, recommender systems, product similarity, price recommendations, and Large Language Models (LLMs). The role involves researching complex business problems, developing and testing ML algorithms, experimenting with different approaches, and collaborating closely with scientists, software engineers, and ML engineers to build scalable end-to-end solutions. The candidate will also contribute to improving models in production, writing reusable and maintainable Python/Java/C++ code, and shaping the future science roadmap of the CMT organization.
