Age Relaxation :
Age relaxation is available to eligible categories according to the applicable Uttar Pradesh Government rules.
SC, ST, OBC, and other reserved categories receive relaxation as prescribed by the Government.
Classified or skilled sportspersons may receive 5 years of relaxation.
Ex-servicemen are eligible for the prescribed relaxation after deduction of actual military service, subject to the applicable limit.

The UPSSSC PET application fee varies according to the candidate's category.
General category candidates have to pay Rs. 160 application fee plus Rs. 25 online processing fee, making a total of Rs. 185.
OBC candidates have to pay Rs. 160 application fee plus Rs. 25 processing fee, making a total of Rs. 185.
SC candidates have to pay Rs. 70 application fee plus Rs. 25 processing fee, making a total of Rs. 95.
ST candidates have to pay Rs. 70 application fee plus Rs. 25 processing fee, making a total of Rs. 95.
Persons with Benchmark Disabilities are required to pay only the Rs. 25 online processing fee.
Dependents of freedom fighters, ex-servicemen, outstanding sportspersons, and women candidates will pay the fee applicable to their original category.
The fee can be paid through Credit Card, Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, or SBI e-Challan. No other payment method is accepted.

Indian National Movement :

General Hindi includes Sandhi, synonyms, antonyms, gender, homophones, one-word substitutions, idioms, proverbs, common errors, and authors and their works. General English includes grammar and questions based on unseen passages.
Reasoning :
The reasoning section includes order and ranking, relationships, odd-one-out, calendars, clocks, cause and effect, coding-decoding, deductive reasoning, statements, and conclusions.
Current Affairs and General Awareness :
Candidates should prepare Indian and international current affairs, neighbouring countries, states and Union Territories, capitals and currencies, Parliament, national and international days, world organisations, tourist places, Indian art and culture, sports, research organisations, books, authors, awards, climate change, and environment.
Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2026 Score Validity and Normalization :
The PET 2026 score will remain valid for three years from the date on which the Commission declares the result or uploads the score on its official website.
Candidates holding more than one valid PET score at the time of applying for a Main Examination may use their highest valid normalized PET score.
If the number of candidates is too large to conduct the examination in a single shift or on a single day, UPSSSC may conduct the examination in multiple shifts or days. In such circumstances, normalization of scores will be used for comparative evaluation.

Eligible candidates should complete the application process carefully through the official UPSSSC website.
Complete the mandatory One Time Registration on the UPSSSC website.
Use the OTR number or registered mobile number to log in.
