Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates must hold relevant engineering qualifications in environmental or allied branches from recognized institutions.

Accepted Qualifications (Any One) :
Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Mechanical / Chemical / Bio-Technology / Mining / Environmental Engineering, OR
AMIE (Civil Engineering) with Section A & B completed, OR
B.E./B.Tech in any branch + Postgraduate degree in Environmental Engineering.

Additional Conditions :
Distance or open university degrees must be recognized by UGC / AICTE / Distance Education Bureau.
Qualification must be completed on or before 02 June 2026.

Age Limit :
Minimum age: 18 years.
Maximum age: 44 years (as on 01 July 2026).
Age Relaxation ;
SC / ST / BC / EWS: 5 years.
PwD: 10 years.
Government employees: up to 5 years based on service.
Ex-Servicemen: 3 years + service period.
NCC instructors: 3 years + NCC service.

Selection Process :
Selection will be conducted through a written examination consisting of two papers ;
Paper I: General Studies & General Abilities (150 marks).
Paper II: Environmental Engineering (300 marks).
Total: 450 marks, objective type exam in OMR/CBRT mode.

Application Fee :
OC / BC: ₹1,000 + ₹120 exam fee.
SC / ST / PwD: ₹500 + ₹120 exam fee.
Unemployed candidates: exempted from exam fee.
Payment is online and non-refundable.
