Candidates should ensure that they satisfy the minimum and maximum age criteria applicable to their respective post before submitting the online application.
The minimum age is 18 years for most notified posts.
The minimum age for Motor Vehicle Inspector Grade-II is 21 years.
The minimum age for Junior Training Officer posts is 21 years.

TNPSC CTS Diploma/ITI Recruitment 2026 Salary Details :
Selected candidates will receive attractive salaries under the 7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix applicable to the respective post and department. In addition to the basic pay, employees will be entitled to various Government allowances and service benefits.
Salary is provided according to Pay Matrix Levels 5 to 15, depending on the post.
Mines Foreman carries Pay Level 15.
Motor Vehicle Inspector Grade-II, Assistant Manager, and Radio Supervisor are placed under Pay Level 13.
Textile Inspector falls under Pay Level 12.
Junior Technical Assistant, Junior Training Officer, and Technical Assistant posts are placed under Pay Level 11.
Assistant Agricultural Officer, Assistant Horticultural Officer, Technician, and Mine Mate are placed under Pay Levels 8 to 10.
Procurement and Quality Control Supervisor carries a pay scale of Rs. 26,500 – Rs. 84,180.
Apart from the basic salary, selected candidates will receive Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Medical Benefits, Leave Benefits, Pension Benefits, Travel Allowance (where applicable), and other Government service benefits according to Tamil Nadu Government rules.
TNPSC CTS Diploma/ITI Recruitment 2026 Application Fee :
Candidates must pay the prescribed examination fee while submitting their online application unless they are eligible for fee exemption under TNPSC rules.
The examination fee is Rs.100 for one subject paper.
Candidates opting for additional subject papers must pay Rs.100 for each additional paper.
One Time Registration (OTR) requires payment of Rs.150, which remains valid for five years.
Examination fees can be paid online through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or other approved digital payment methods.
Eligible candidates belonging to reserved categories may avail fee concession or complete fee exemption as per TNPSC regulations.

TNPSC CTS Diploma/ITI Recruitment 2026 Selection Process :
The recruitment process consists of a written examination followed by certificate verification and counselling. Final selection will be made strictly on merit and reservation rules prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
Candidates must appear for Paper I, consisting of Tamil Eligibility Test, General Studies, Aptitude, and Mental Ability Test.
Candidates must also appear for Paper II, which consists of the relevant technical subject paper.
