SBI has announced a total of 35 Bank Medical Officer (BMO-II) vacancies across multiple circles in India.

SBI SCO BMO Eligibility Criteria 2026 :
Candidates must possess an MBBS Degree from a recognized University or Institution approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC) or the respective State Medical Council.
Applicants holding Post Graduate Diploma, MD, MS, or equivalent postgraduate medical qualifications will be given preference during recruitment.
Candidates possessing only an MBBS degree must have a minimum of five years of experience as a General Practitioner after obtaining Medical Council registration.
Candidates with a Postgraduate Medical Degree require at least three years of post-registration General Practitioner experience.
Internship, teaching assignments, and training periods will not be considered valid experience for eligibility.

The maximum age limit for applicants is 35 years as on 31 May 2026.
Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India guidelines.
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates are eligible for 3 years of age relaxation.
SC and ST candidates are entitled to 5 years of age relaxation.
PwBD candidates are eligible for relaxation ranging from 10 to 15 years, depending on their category.

SBI Bank Medical Officer Salary 2026 :
Selected candidates will be appointed in Middle Management Grade Scale-II (MMGS-II).
The initial basic pay starts at ₹64,820 per month.
The complete pay scale is ₹64,820 – ₹93,960 as per SBI norms.
In addition to the basic salary, candidates will receive Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), Provident Fund, National Pension System (NPS), Leave Fare Concession (LFC), Medical Benefits, and other admissible allowances.
A 20% Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) on basic pay will also be provided.
Candidates possessing Postgraduate Diploma receive one advance increment, while MD/MS degree holders receive two advance increments.
