SSF Recruitment 2026

Eligibility Requirements :

Constable (Barber) :
Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th standard) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board or institution. Applicants will also be required to qualify in the trade test related to the Barber trade.

Constable (Washerman) :
Applicants must have completed Matriculation (10th) or equivalent qualification from a recognized board. Candidates must also successfully pass the trade test for the Washerman trade.

Nationality :
Only male Indian citizens are eligible to apply for these positions.

Age Limit (as on 28-04-2026) :
Minimum Age: 18 years.
Maximum Age: 23 years.
Age relaxation will be provided as per the applicable government rules.

Application Fee :
General / OBC / EWS: ₹100.
SC / Ex-Servicemen: No fee.

Salary / Pay Scale :
Selected candidates will be appointed under Group ‘C’ (Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) posts with a Pay Level-2 salary ranging from ₹19,900 to ₹63,200 per month as per the 7th Pay Commission. The posts are temporary but likely to become permanent under the Secretariat Security Force (SSF).
