Educational Qualification :
Candidates must have passed Class XII (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board.
Mathematics should have been studied as a subject in Class X (10th Standard).
Candidates must possess basic knowledge of computer applications.
They should have either ;
A certificate or diploma of at least 3 months in Computer Applications, or
A higher qualification in Computer Science / Information Technology from a recognized Board or University.

Other Qualifications :
Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak at least one of the State languages of Sikkim.
Candidates should be familiar with the local customs and traditions of Sikkim.

Age Limit :
Candidates must be at least 18 years old as on 31 July 2026.
The upper age limit is 40 years as on 31 July 2026.
The age criteria are governed by Notification No. M(3)/(55)/GEN/DOP/Pt.III dated 03 July 2019.
Candidates seeking age relaxation should refer to the relevant government notifications.
Reservation for Special Categories ;

Important Points :
Reserved vacancies under SPAE, ESM, and PFAR will not be carried forward.
If eligible candidates are unavailable, the vacancies will be filled by candidates belonging to the same reserved category.

Application Fee :
The application fee is ₹200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only).
The fee is applicable to all categories of candidates.
Payment can be made online through ;
Net Banking.
Credit Card.
Debit Card (Visa/MasterCard).
The application fee once paid is non-refundable and cannot be adjusted for any other purpose.

Selection Process :
Selection will be based on a Written Examination conducted by the Commission.
Candidates will be admitted provisionally to the examination subject to fulfillment of eligibility conditions.
The examination pattern and syllabus are available in Appendix-I of the official notification.
Candidates qualifying in the written examination will be called for document verification.
Original documents along with attested photocopies must be produced during verification.
The Commission may cancel candidature at any stage if a candidate is found ineligible.
No TA/DA will be provided for attending the examination.
Candidates must carry ;
Valid e-Admit Card.
Aadhaar Card / Voter ID Card / Driving Licence as photo identity proof.

Salary / Pay Scale :
Selected candidates will be appointed under the Finance Department, Government of Sikkim.
The post carries a pay scale under Level-7 of the Pay Matrix of the Sikkim Sub Ordinate Accounts Service.
During the period of probation, apprenticeship, or training, salary will be governed by Notification No. 489/GEN/DOP dated 31.10.2011.

Required Documents :
Candidates must possess the following documents at the time of application and document verification:
Domicile / Local Proof ;
Sikkim Subject Certificate (SSC), or
Certificate of Identification (COI) issued by the competent authority.
Category Certificate issued by the competent authority of the Government of Sikkim.
Valid Local Employment Card issued by the appropriate authority.
No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Head of Department for candidates already employed.
Marital Status Certificate for female candidates.
Married women candidates must submit the COI/SSC of their husband.

Download the e-Admit Card from the website once it is released by the Commission.

Common Mistakes to Avoid :
Do not apply if you are awaiting your final Class XII results.
Ensure that your photograph and signature meet the prescribed format and file size requirements.
Avoid making multiple fee payments if the payment gateway is slow or unresponsive.
Use a stable internet connection and an updated browser while filling the form.
Save your login credentials and application number immediately after registration.
Do not wait until the last date to submit your application.
