Education Qualification :

Specialist Post :
Candidates must possess a Postgraduate Degree / DNB / Diploma in the concerned specialty, or an equivalent qualification listed under MCI Act Schedule I & II. Valid registration with the A.P. Medical Council is mandatory.

General Post :
Applicants should have an MBBS degree or an equivalent qualification recognized under MCI Act Schedule I & II, along with current registration in the A.P. Medical Council.

Age Eligibility (as on 01.07.2026) :
Open Category (OC): Maximum age limit is 42 years.
EWS / SC / ST / BC: Maximum age limit is 47 years.
Differently Abled Candidates: Maximum age limit is 52 years.
Ex-Servicemen: Age relaxation of 3 years plus the duration of service rendered in the armed forces

Application Fee Details :
There is no application fee required for this recruitment process.

Pay Scale :
Civil Assistant Surgeon (Specialist): ₹1,10,000 per month.
Civil Assistant Surgeon (General): ₹61,960 per month.

Selection Method :
Selection will be carried out based on merit, following the reservation rules applicable in the State of Andhra Pradesh. A merit list of eligible candidates will be prepared, and final selection will be made accordingly.

Candidates attending the walk-in interview must ensure the following ;
Read the official notification thoroughly before attending.
Reach the venue on time as per reporting schedule.
Carry original documents along with photocopies.
Bring valid ID proof and all educational certificates.
Submit caste certificate and experience certificates, if applicable.
Keep passport-size photographs ready.
Carry a duly filled application form, if specified in the notification.
Complete verification and registration at the venue.
