Educational Qualification :
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or possess an equivalent qualification approved by the Central Government. The required qualification should be completed on or before 08 June 2026.

Local Language Requirement :
Candidates applying for a particular State or Union Territory must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the local language specified for that region. Applicants who studied the local language as a subject in their 10th or 12th standard may be exempted from appearing for the language proficiency test.

Nationality :
Only Indian citizens who meet the eligibility conditions laid down by SBI are permitted to apply for the apprenticeship program.

Age Criteria (As on 08-06-2026) :
Applicants must be at least 20 years old and should not exceed 28 years of age as on 08 June 2026. Candidates should have been born between 09 June 1998 and 08 June 2006, both dates inclusive.

Age Relaxation :
Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided to reserved categories as per Government of India guidelines ;
SC / ST: 5 Years.
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years.
PwBD (UR): 10 Years.
PwBD (OBC): 13 Years.
PwBD (SC / ST): 15 Years.
Ex-Servicemen: As per Government norms.

Application Fee :
Candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen categories are exempted from paying the application fee. All other candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 300 through online payment methods.

Selection Procedure :
The SBI Apprentice Recruitment process consists of multiple stages designed to evaluate candidates’ aptitude, language proficiency, and eligibility documents.
Stage 1 : Online Written Examination ;
Candidates must appear for an online objective-type examination covering reasoning ability, quantitative aptitude, English language, and general/financial awareness.
Stage 2 : Local Language Test ;
Shortlisted candidates will be required to demonstrate proficiency in the local language of the State or Union Territory they applied for.
Stage 3 : Document Verification & Medical Fitness ;
Candidates qualifying the earlier stages must produce original documents for verification and fulfill the required medical fitness standards.
Note: Completion of the apprenticeship does not guarantee permanent employment in SBI.

Exam Pattern :
The online examination will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions. Candidates will be given a total of 60 minutes to complete the exam, with separate timing allotted for each section.
Exam Highlights ;
Mode of Exam: Online.
Type of Questions: Objective Multiple Choice.
Total Questions: 100.
Total Marks: 100.
Duration: 60 Minutes.
Sectional Timing: 15 Minutes per section.
Negative Marking: One-fourth of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Stipend and Training Benefits :
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 15,000 during the one-year training period. Since this is an apprenticeship program and not a permanent employment opportunity, candidates will not receive additional allowances such as DA, HRA, medical benefits, or pension benefits.

Register using a valid email ID and mobile number.
Log in and complete the online application form with accurate personal and educational details.
Upload scanned copies of the required documents, photograph, and signature in the prescribed format.
Pay the applicable application fee through online payment methods.
Submit the application form and save or print the confirmation page for future reference.
