RBI Site Engineer Recruitment 2026 Educational Qualification :
Candidates applying for Consultant Site Engineer (Civil) posts must possess a Bachelor's Degree (B.Tech/B.E. or equivalent) in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institution approved by the Government of India.
Applicants applying for Consultant Site Engineer (Electrical) should possess a Bachelor's Degree (B.Tech/B.E. or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
Candidates possessing a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in the relevant engineering discipline will be given preference wherever applicable. However, an M.Tech degree is only desirable and not mandatory.
All educational qualifications must be obtained from recognized universities or institutions approved by the AICTE or other competent statutory authorities.

RBI Site Engineer Recruitment 2026 Work Experience
Candidates must possess at least 15 years of professional experience in construction, infrastructure development, project planning, execution, and project management.
Applicants should have served in organizations such as CPWD, Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs), State Public Works Departments (PWDs), State Government organizations, or similar Government institutions.
For Civil Level 2, candidates should have worked for at least 5 years in a Government organization at a level not below Assistant Executive Engineer.
For Civil Level 3 and Electrical Level 3, candidates should have held a position not below Executive Engineer for at least 5 years.
Candidates should possess practical experience in handling large-scale building construction projects, tender management, quality control, contract administration, project supervision, and coordination with Government agencies.

RBI Site Engineer Age Limit 2026 :
Candidates should be not less than 40 years and not more than 65 years as on 01 June 2026.
The prescribed age limit is applicable to all categories of candidates.
As mentioned in the official notification, no age relaxation is available for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, or any other reserved category candidates.

Candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹600 plus applicable GST.

RBI Site Engineer Salary 2026 :
Selected candidates will receive an attractive monthly consolidated compensation package based on the level of appointment.
Level 2 (Grade B) consultants will receive a standard monthly compensation of ₹2,40,000, which may be negotiated up to ₹3,40,000 depending upon qualifications, skills, and experience.
Level 3 (Grade C) consultants will receive a standard monthly compensation of ₹3,10,000, which may be negotiated up to ₹4,10,000.
In addition to the consolidated compensation, eligible candidates will receive housing allowance applicable to their place of posting.
The monthly compensation (excluding housing allowance) will increase by 7% after every successful completion of 12 months during the contract period.
