Railway RRC SECR Recruitment 2026

Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the date of notification (05-05-2026). Only those who have already completed the required qualifications are eligible to apply. Candidates awaiting results are not eligible.
A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in 10th standard is mandatory. No rounding off of percentages will be accepted (e.g., 49.9% is invalid).
Applicants must also possess a relevant ITI certificate from a recognized institution along with valid NCVT/SCVT registration, which will be verified during document verification.

Educational Qualification :
10th Class: Passed with at least 50% aggregate marks under 10+2 system or equivalent.
ITI: Passed in a relevant trade from a recognized institute.
Both qualifications must be completed before 05-05-2026.

Age Limit (as on 05-05-2026) :
UR: 05-05-2002 to 05-05-2011.
OBC: 05-05-1999 to 05-05-2011.
SC/ST: 05-05-1997 to 05-05-2011.
PwBD / Ex-Servicemen: 05-05-1992 to 05-05-2011.

Age Relaxation :
SC/ST: 5 years.
OBC: 3 years.
PwBD: 10 years.
Ex-Servicemen: 10 years.

Application Fee :

No TA/DA will be provided for any stage of selection.

Selection Process :
Selection is based purely on merit, with no written examination.
Merit Calculation ;
50% weightage: 10th marks.
50% weightage: ITI marks.
Final selection is based on the average of both percentages.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification, where original certificates must be produced. Any mismatch or failure to produce documents will result in rejection.
Training & Appointment.
Training Duration: 1 year per trade.
Stipend: As per Railway Board rules.
Medical Fitness: Required as per Apprenticeship Act, certified by government-authorized medical officer.
Contract: Apprenticeship agreement must be signed (guardian if minor).
