RITES Limited, a leading Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, has officially released the RITES Recruitment 2026 Notification for the engagement of experienced Civil Engineering professionals on a contract basis.
The recruitment notification invites online applications for 16 vacancies for the posts of Resident Engineer (Civil), Quality Engineer (Civil), and Field Engineer (Civil) across various infrastructure projects.

RITES Limited has announced a total of 16 vacancies for Civil Engineering professionals under different Vacancy Codes.
The recruitment includes three posts, namely Resident Engineer (Civil), Quality Engineer (Civil), and Field Engineer (Civil).
Resident Engineer (Civil): 3 Vacancies.
Quality Engineer (Civil): 2 Vacancies.
Field Engineer (Civil): 11 Vacancies.
The Resident Engineer and Quality Engineer vacancies are available under the Unreserved (UR) category.
The Field Engineer vacancies include reservation for Unreserved (UR), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer), and Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates in accordance with Government of India reservation norms.
The advertised vacancies are indicative in nature, and RITES reserves the right to increase, decrease, cancel, or modify the number of vacancies at any stage depending on project requirements and administrative decisions.

RITES Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates applying for any of the notified posts must satisfy the prescribed eligibility conditions relating to educational qualification, relevant work experience, and age limit as on the cut-off date.
Applicants must possess a full-time Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a university or institution recognized by AICTE and established under the relevant provisions of Central or State Government Acts.
Degrees obtained from Deemed Universities recognized under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, are also acceptable.
Candidates who have qualified Sections A & B of the Institution of Engineers (India) examinations with enrollment before the prescribed date are also eligible wherever applicable.

Resident Engineer (Civil) :
Candidates should possess a full-time Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Applicants must have a minimum of 8 years of post-qualification professional experience in Civil Engineering projects.
Experience should preferably be in the execution, supervision, quality control, monitoring, or management of Road, Highway, Bridge, Building, or Infrastructure Projects.

Quality Engineer (Civil) :
Candidates should possess a full-time Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Applicants must have at least 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
Experience in quality assurance, quality control, inspection, material testing, and construction supervision in Road, Bridge, or Building projects will be preferred.

Field Engineer (Civil) :
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience in Civil Engineering works related to roads, bridges, highways, buildings, or similar infrastructure projects.
Additional Eligibility Conditions
Only post-qualification experience will be considered while determining eligibility.
Experience gained through internships, apprenticeships, academic teaching, research fellowships, Ph.D. studies, or training programs (except on-the-job training) will not be counted.

RITES Recruitment 2026 Age Limit :
The maximum permissible age for all advertised posts is 55 years.
Age will be calculated as on 30 July 2026, which is the last date for submission of online applications.

Age Relaxation :
Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates are eligible for 5 years of upper age relaxation.
