Eligibility Conditions :
Applicants must satisfy all eligibility rules as of the cutoff dates. Candidates must ensure their profiles are fully completed on both NAPS and NATS before applying.

Must be a citizen of India or eligible under specified government categories.
Must hold a regular graduation degree in any discipline by the deadline.
Postgraduates are not eligible.
Work experience of 1 year or more is not allowed.
Must apply within 5 years of passing graduation.
Prior apprenticeship experience disqualifies candidates.
Must be proficient in the local language of the applied State/UT.
Aadhaar card is compulsory for engagement.

Age Criteria (as on 01-05-2026) :
Candidates must be between 20 and 28 years for the general category.
Relaxation Rules ;
SC/ST: +5 years.
OBC (NCL): +3 years.
PwBD: +10 years.
Special categories (widow/divorced/1984 riot affected): extended upper limits as per rules.

Application Fee Structure :
A non-refundable fee is applicable and must be paid online.
SC/ST/PwBD: ₹100 + charges.
General/OBC/EWS: ₹200 + charges.
Payment once made will not be refunded under any circumstance.

Selection Method :
Selection is based on a single-stage merit evaluation followed by verification steps.
Step 1 : Merit Ranking ;
Candidates are shortlisted based on 10+2 marks. Merit lists are prepared separately for each State, District, and Category. If marks are equal, older candidates are given preference.
Step 2 : Document Verification ;
Shortlisted candidates must present original documents for verification at their own cost.
Step 3 : Medical Check ;
Final engagement depends on meeting the bank’s medical fitness standards.

Competition Overview :
The overall competition level is expected to be moderate to high due to ;
Limited seats (635 across India).
No written exam (pure merit-based selection).
Heavy dependence on Class 12 marks.
States with higher competition pressure include ;
Uttar Pradesh.
Punjab.
Bihar.
Maharashtra.
Haryana.
Since selection is purely academic-based, even small percentage differences in 10+2 scores can significantly impact ranking within districts.

Who Should Not Apply :
This program is not suitable for candidates who ;
Expect permanent banking employment.
Already completed any apprenticeship program.
Hold postgraduate qualifications.
Have 1+ year work experience.
Completed graduation more than 5 years ago.
Lack local language proficiency proof.
Cannot meet NAPS/NATS registration requirements.
Do not possess a valid Aadhaar card.

Common Application Errors :
Many applications get rejected due to avoidable mistakes such as ;
Incomplete registration on NAPS or NATS.
Selecting incorrect State/District.
Mismatch in category certificates.
Blurred or incorrect document uploads.
Using CAPITAL letters for signatures.
Submitting multiple applications.
Invalid email or mobile number.
Incorrect or expired OBC/EWS certificates.

Candidates must apply online only through the official bank portal.

Complete registration on ;
NAPS.
NATS.
Obtain NATS Enrollment ID.
Apply via bank recruitment page.
Upload required documents.
Pay application fee.
Download and save final application form.

Photograph and signature.
Thumb impression.
Handwritten declaration.
Live photo capture.
At Verification Stage.
Educational certificates (10th, 12th, Graduation).
Category certificates (if applicable).
Valid identity proof (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, etc.).
DOB proof.
Passport-size photos.
Note: Ration Card and Learner’s License are not valid IDs.

Important Guidelines :
This is strictly an apprenticeship, not employment.
No guarantee of permanent job after completion.
No allowances or travel reimbursements provided.
Apprenticeship ends automatically after 12 months.
Only one application per candidate is allowed.
Final selection is subject to verification and medical fitness.
The bank reserves the right to modify or cancel the process anytime.
