Punjab and Haryana High Court Recruitment 2026

Eligibility Criteria :

Nationality :
Only candidates who are Indian citizens are eligible to apply.

Basic Requirement :
For both posts, candidates must have ;
Working knowledge of Hindi and the local/regional language.

Mali (Gardener) – Preference Criteria :
Diploma in Gardening from a recognized institute.
OR at least 3 years of experience as a Gardener
Experience must be completed on or before 30-06-2026.

Safai Sewak – Preference Criteria :
Minimum 3 years of experience working as Safai Sewak (Sweeper).
Experience must be completed on or before 30-06-2026.

Marital Condition :
Male candidates with more than one living wife are not eligible.
Female candidates married to a man who already has a living wife are also not eligible.

Application Rule :
Separate applications are required for each post.
Only one application per post is allowed.
If multiple forms are submitted, the latest one will be considered valid.

Age Limit (as on 30-06-2026) :
Minimum age: 18 years.
Maximum age: 35 years.
Relaxation applicable as per government rules.
Age Relaxation ;
PwD candidates: +10 years.
Ex-Servicemen: service period + 3 years.
Accepted proof of age ;
Matriculation certificate OR
Birth certificate issued by competent authority.

Application Fee Structure :
₹700: General & SC/ST/BC (outside Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh).
₹600: SC/ST/BC (Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh).
₹600: Ex-Servicemen.
₹600: PwD (40% or above disability).
Free: Dependents of Ex-Servicemen (killed/disabled in service).
Fee once paid is non-refundable.

Selection Process :
Selection will be based on Interview only.
Shortlisting may be done if applications are high in number.
Final selection rules may be changed by the authority anytime.

Admit Card :
Available only online via official website Punjab and Haryana High Court.
Also sent through email/SMS.
Photograph must exactly match application form.
No travel allowance or daily allowance will be provided for interview.

Ineligible Candidates :
Applicants will not be considered if they ;
Are outside the age limit without relaxation.
Do not meet prescribed disability/category rules.
Fail to meet experience requirements by cutoff date.
Violate marital eligibility conditions.
Are dependent Ex-Servicemen claiming reserved benefits.
Do not possess valid email ID/mobile number.
Government employees without valid NOC.

Important Points to Remember :
Category once selected cannot be changed.
Photo and signature must match strictly at all stages.
Late applications will not be accepted under any condition.
All communication will be through email/SMS only.
Incomplete or false applications may be rejected anytime.
Keep multiple copies of uploaded photograph.
