Dean, Postgraduate Studies – Ph.D. in Agriculture, Master’s & Bachelor’s in Agriculture (≥65% in Master’s), 12 years experience including 5 years as Professor.
Dean, College of Basic Sciences & Humanities – Ph.D. in Basic Sciences / Humanities / Agricultural Sciences, Master’s & Bachelor’s in relevant field (≥65% in Master’s), 12 years experience including 5 years as Professor.
Director (Genetics, Plant Breeding & Biotechnology) – B.Sc. in Biotech / Agriculture / Biological Sciences, Ph.D. in Biotechnology / Genetics / Plant Breeding, 12 years experience (5 years as Professor).
Senior Biotechnologist – B.Sc / B.Tech in Biotechnology / Agriculture, Ph.D. in Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Genetics, 8 years teaching/research experience.
Food Technologist (Milling / Packaging) – B.Sc / B.Tech in Food Tech / Agriculture / Biotechnology / Dairy / Nutrition, M.Sc / M.Tech in Food Technology / related fields, NET qualified or Ph.D.
Botanist / Molecular Cytogeneticist / Plant Biotechnologist / Entomologist / Soil Chemist – Relevant B.Sc / B.Tech and Master’s degrees, NET qualified or Ph.D.
Assistant Professors (Civil, CSE, Mechatronics, Plant Breeding, Soil Science) – Relevant B.E/B.Tech and M.E/M.Tech / Master’s degrees, NET qualified (relaxable) or Ph.D.
Assistant Librarian – Graduation + Master’s in Library Science, NET qualified or Ph.D.
District Extension Scientist (Agricultural Economics) – B.Sc Agriculture / Horticulture, Master’s in Agricultural Economics, NET qualified or Ph.D.
Clerk – Bachelor’s degree, computer course (120 hours or O-level), typing 30 WPM (English & Punjabi).
Bee Keeper – 10+2 (Science) + 1-year experience or Matric + Diploma in Agriculture + experience.
Ward Attendant – 10+2, 2–5 years hospital experience, knowledge of Punjabi.
Application Fee :
General / OBC: ₹1,298 (most posts).
Clerk / Bee Keeper: ₹354.
Ward Attendant: ₹118.
SC/ST/Female candidates: Fee concessions as applicable.
Age Limit :
Minimum: 18 years | Maximum: 37 years.
Relaxation as per Punjab Government rules (SC/BC/PwD/EWS / contract employees up to 45 years in some cases).
Salary / Pay Scale :
Dean (PG Studies / Basic Sciences & Humanities) : Level-14 + SA ₹1,000 / month.
Director (Genetics, Plant Breeding & Biotechnology) : Level-14 + SA ₹800 / month.
Senior Biotechnologist : Level-13A.
Food Technologists / Botanist / Molecular Cytogeneticist / Plant Biotechnologist / Entomologist / Soil Chemist / Assistant Professors / Assistant Librarian / District Extension Scientist : Level-10.
Clerk / Bee Keeper : Level-02 (₹19,900 / month).
Ward Attendant : Level-01 (₹18,000 / month).
