Eligibility :
Candidates must meet UGC-aligned norms through one of two paths ;
Ph.D. in concerned/allied/relevant discipline from UGC-affiliated or Government-recognized institution.
10+ research publications in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed journals.
Research score: 120 (per Appendix I, Table 1).
10+ years teaching/research experience as Assistant/Associate Professor or at National Level Institutions.
Evidence of guiding doctoral candidates.
OR
Path B – Industry/Professional Route ;
Ph.D. in relevant/allied/applied discipline from academic institution or industry.
Significant contribution to knowledge with documentary proof.
10+ years experience in relevant field.

General Requirements :
All qualifications from recognized institutions (UGC-affiliated or Government-recognized).
English proficiency required (medium of instruction).
Foreign degrees must be equivalent per Association of Indian Universities.
Employed candidates must apply via proper channel with NOC.

Marks Relaxation :
SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy)/Differently-abled : 5% at Graduate/Masters level.
Ph.D. holders (Master's before 19-Sep-1991) : 55% → 50% at Masters level.
Note ;
Differently-abled in Physical Education NOT eligible for 5% relaxation.
Grace marks excluded from eligibility calculation.

Experience Calculation Rules :
M.Phil/Ph.D. duration NOT counted as teaching/research experience.

Salary & Pay Scale
Professor : Rs. 1,44,200/- to Rs. 2,18,200/- , Level 14.
Allowances : As per State Government Orders.
Probation: 1 year (may be waived/extended).
Termination: Possible during/end of probation without reason.
