Eligibility Criteria :
Research Officer (Group-A) – Economic Policy & Planning Board :
Master’s degree in Economics, Agricultural Economics, or Commerce with a minimum of 50% marks.
At least 1 year of experience in economic planning, project appraisal, research, or data compilation.
Matriculation with Punjabi.
Research Officer (Group-A) – State Directorate of Statistics :
Master’s degree in Economics, Agricultural Economics, Statistics, or Commerce (with Statistics) with a minimum of 50% marks
At least 1 year of experience in statistical work.
Matriculation with Punjabi.
Application Fee :
General / OBC : ₹1,500.
SC / ST : ₹750.
PwBD : ₹500.
Age Limit :
Minimum: 18 years.
Maximum: 37 years.
Age Relaxation (as per Government rules):
Punjab / All India Govt. employees: up to 45 years.
SC / BC Punjab: up to 42 years.
Widows / certain categories of women: up to 42 years.
Persons with Disability (Punjab): up to 47 years.
Ex-Servicemen (Punjab): deduction of service period + 3 years.
Salary :
