Eligibility Criteria :
Applicants must have completed ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in the relevant trade from a Government-recognised Industrial Training Institute. Only candidates who have passed ITI in 2023, 2024, or 2025 are eligible. Those who passed before 2023 will not be considered.

For the COPA (PASA) trade, candidates with Marathi or English typing certification will be given preference. Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training under PCMC or any other organisation are not eligible to apply. Additionally, candidates currently engaged in apprenticeship training elsewhere are also not eligible.

Qualification & Duration :
COPA – 1 Year | ITI in COPA.
Electrician – 2 Years | ITI in Electrician.
Wireman – 2 Years | ITI in Wireman.
Desktop Operating (DTPO) – 1 Year | ITI in DTPO.
Plumber – 1 Year | ITI in Plumber.
Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician (RACT) – 2 Years | ITI in RACT.
Pump Operator cum Mechanic (POCM) – 1 Year | ITI in POCM.
Surveyor – 2 Years | ITI in Surveyor.
Draughtsman Civil – 2 Years | ITI in Draughtsman Civil.
Mechanic Motor Vehicle (MMV) – 2 Years | ITI in MMV.
Instrument Mechanic (IM) – 2 Years | ITI in Instrument Mechanic.
Gardener (Mali) – 1 Year | ITI in Gardening Trade.

Age Criteria :
No fixed upper or lower age limit is clearly mentioned in the notification. However, as per the Apprenticeship Act, 1961, the minimum age is 14 years. In practice, since ITI qualification is required, most applicants are generally 18 years or older.
Relaxation in age is applicable for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/SEBC/VJ/NT/EWS/PwD) as per Government rules.

Application Fee :
There is no application fee for this recruitment process. Registration and application through the NAPS portal are completely free of cost.
Candidates are advised not to pay any individual or agency claiming to assist in selection.

Stipend Details :
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend as per the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 (Central Government norms).
Additional benefits under the Maharashtra Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (MAPS) may also be applicable.

Key points :
No TA/DA will be provided.
No additional allowances (PF, HRA, etc.).
Apprenticeship does not guarantee permanent employment.
Payment will be made only through Aadhaar-linked DBT bank account.
