Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates must satisfy all eligibility conditions by 29-06-2026. All qualifications must be from a recognized University/Institution. Candidates awaiting final results are not eligible. English must have been studied at SSC level.
Experience Rules :
1-year apprenticeship after 1-year ITI will be treated as 1 year experience.
Internship will not be counted as experience.
NAC (3-year) will not be considered where 2-year ITI is required.
Educational Qualification :
Plant Operator :
10+2 (Science: PCM) with minimum 50% marks.
English at SSC level.
ITI Trades (Electrician, Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Welder, etc.) :
SSC (10th) with 50% marks in Science & Mathematics.
2-year ITI in relevant trade.
English at SSC level.
Project Affected Persons (PAPs) :
Additional eligibility relaxation and 20% bonus marks as per rules.
Age Limit (as on 29-06-2026) :
General: 18–24 years.
OBC: +3 years.
SC/ST: +5 years.
PwBD: up to +15 years (category-based).
Additional relaxations apply as per government norms.
Application Fee :
UR / EWS / OBC (Male): ₹100 (non-refundable).
SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen / Female / NPCIL employees: No fee.
Stipend & Training :
Year 1: ₹20,000/month.
Year 2: ₹22,000/month.
Book Allowance: ₹3,000 (one-time).
Training Duration: 2 years.
Post: Technician-B (Level 3).
Minimum 60% required for absorption.
Bond: ₹5,07,000 for 5 years.
Selection Process :
Stage 1: Preliminary CBT (Screening Test).
Stage 2: Advanced CBT (Merit Ranking).
Stage 3: Document Verification.
Final selection is based on Stage 2 merit marks only.
Exam Pattern :
Preliminary Test ;
50 MCQs | 150 marks | 60 minutes.
Maths, Science, General Awareness.
Negative marking: 1 mark.
Advanced Test ;
50 MCQs | 150 marks | 120 minutes.
Trade/subject-based syllabus.
Negative marking: 1 mark.
