Non-Teaching Recruitment :

Eligibility Requirements :
Candidates must be Indian citizens with a strong academic background. The required educational qualification includes a pass in Secondary (10th standard) along with a 2-year ITI certificate or a 3-year Diploma in the relevant discipline, depending on the post and departmental requirements.
Applicants should possess the prescribed experience as outlined in the Recruitment Rules (2019). Age criteria will also be governed strictly as per these rules applicable to Non-Teaching staff in NITs.
Candidates must be physically fit and medically sound. Individuals with pending vigilance or disciplinary proceedings, or those with any criminal conviction, will not be eligible to apply.

Application Fee Structure :
UR / EWS / OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) / Ex-Servicemen: ₹1,000.
SC / ST / Women Candidates: ₹500.
PwBD Candidates: Exempted from fee.

Age Criteria & Relaxation :
Age limits shall be determined as per Recruitment Rules (2019).
Permissible Age Relaxation ;
SC/ST: 5 years.
OBC: 3 years.
PwBD (UR): 10 years.
PwBD (OBC): 13 years.
PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years.
Ex-Servicemen: Length of military service plus 3 years.
Departmental candidates (minimum 3 years’ service): Additional 5 years.
Widows/Divorced Women: Up to 35 years (40 years for SC/ST).
Regular NITT employees appointed before 2012: No upper age restriction.

Pay Scale :
Technician: Pay Level-3 (PB-1 with Grade Pay ₹2,000).
Senior Technician: Pay Level-4 (PB-1 with Grade Pay ₹2,400).
