Eligibility Criteria :
This section defines the academic qualifications required for various departments. Candidates are advised to carefully check these criteria before applying, as eligibility differs by discipline and is strictly enforced during shortlisting.
Generally, applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in the relevant branch of engineering, followed by a Master’s degree (M.E./M.Tech) and a Ph.D. in the same or a closely related field. For Mathematics and Humanities disciplines, candidates should possess a relevant Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree along with a Ph.D. in the concerned subject area.

Civil Engineering : B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with M.E./M.Tech and Ph.D.
Mechanical Engineering : B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with M.E./M.Tech and Ph.D.
Electrical Engineering : B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with M.E./M.Tech and Ph.D.
Metallurgical & Materials Engineering : B.E./B.Tech in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering with M.E./M.Tech and Ph.D.
Chemical Engineering : B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering with M.E./M.Tech and Ph.D.
Electronics & Communication Engineering : B.E./B.Tech in ECE with M.E./M.Tech and Ph.D.
Information Technology : B.E./B.Tech in IT or Computer Science Engineering with M.E./M.Tech and Ph.D.
Computer Science & Engineering : B.E./B.Tech in CSE or IT with M.E./M.Tech and Ph.D.
Mathematics : Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mathematics with Ph.D.
Humanities (Management) : Bachelor’s/Master’s in Management with Ph.D.
Humanities (English) : Bachelor’s/Master’s in English with Ph.D.
Important Eligibility Notes :
Candidates who have completed a Direct Ph.D. after B.Tech are also eligible to apply.
A first-class performance is required at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
If sufficient eligible EWS candidates are not available, those positions may be filled by UR category candidates based on the Selection Committee’s recommendation.
Salary, Tenure, and Service Conditions :
This section explains the pay structure and employment terms associated with the temporary faculty engagement.
Fixed monthly salary: ₹65,000 for the period of active service.
Duration of appointment: Purely temporary engagement for 11 months.
Joining requirement: Selected candidates must join immediately and remain physically present at the institute.
Accommodation: No housing facility will be provided; candidates must arrange their own stay.
Agreement requirement: Selected candidates must sign an agreement accepting all institutional terms.
No permanent employment: This position does not provide any claim to regular or long-term appointment.
