Eligibility Criteria (Common for All Posts) :
This recruitment is open only for eligible serving officers applying on deputation (ISTC) basis. Candidates must meet any one of the following conditions in their parent cadre ;
Holding analogous posts on a regular basis
OR
Minimum 2 years’ service in Pay Band-2 (₹9300–34800) with Grade Pay ₹4800 (or equivalent)
OR
Minimum 3 years’ service in Pay Band-2 (₹9300–34800) with Grade Pay ₹4600 (or equivalent).

Additional Requirement (Crime Scene Assistant – Group B) :
At least 5 years’ service in Pay Band-2 (₹9300–34800) with Grade Pay ₹4200 or equivalent.

Educational Qualification & Experience :

Technical Forensic Psychologist :
Master’s degree in Criminology or Clinical Psychology.
3 years experience in psychology, criminology, or crime investigation work.
Preferred: PhD / M.Phil in Psychology or Forensic Psychology / PG Diploma in Forensic Psychology.

Finger Print Expert :
M.Sc. in Science / Forensic Science OR B.Sc. with Chemistry.
3 years experience in fingerprint development and identification work.
Preferred: PhD or certified Fingerprint Expert qualification.

Explosive Expert :
Master’s in Chemistry or M.Sc. Forensic Science (with Chemistry background).
5 years experience in explosives and firearms examination.
Preferred: PhD in Chemistry.

Cyber Forensic Examiner :
B.E/B.Tech in Computer Engineering/IT OR MCA/M.Sc. CS/IT OR M.Tech in CS/IT.
3 years experience in cyber security or digital forensic investigations in government or reputed organizations.
Preferred: As per official norms.

Crime Scene Assistant :
Master’s in Biotechnology / Analytical Chemistry / Physics / Forensic Science.
3 years experience in crime scene investigation or processing.
Preferred: As per official guidelines.

Age Limit :
Maximum Age: 56 years (as on closing date).
Deputation tenure generally limited to 3 years (including prior deputation period if any).

Selection Process :
Selection will be carried out on deputation (ISTC) basis through ;
Forwarding of nominations through proper channel.
Scrutiny of applications including APAR, vigilance, and integrity clearance.
Final selection by the committee of.
