Basic Eligibility :
Only Indian citizens can apply.
Candidates must have completed a full-time regular qualification (not distance or part-time).
The qualification must be from a recognized institution in Uttar Pradesh or Madhya Pradesh only.
The qualification should be completed on or after June 2022.
Age must be between 18 and 26 years as of 01-06-2026 (birth between 01-06-2000 and 01-06-2008).

Education Conditions :
You are eligible only if ;
You studied in a regular full-time course.
Your institute is located in UP or MP and is functional.
You do not possess a higher qualification than required.
You passed your qualification after June 2022.

You are NOT eligible if :
You studied through distance/online/part-time mode.
Your qualification is older than June 2022.
You already hold a higher qualification than required.
Your institute is outside UP/MP.

Reservation & Category Rules :
Only OBC Non-Creamy Layer candidates are eligible for OBC reservation benefits.
PwBD candidates must submit a valid disability certificate issued under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2017.

Selection Method (No Exam) :
Selection happens in three stages ;
Merit List Preparation ;
Based on marks in your qualifying exam.
ITI candidates: Matric + Trade marks average.
Tie-breaker: older age first, then alphabetical order.
Document Verification ;
Shortlisted candidates must show original documents.
Failure to attend or produce documents leads to rejection.
Medical Test ;
Final selection depends on medical fitness under Mines Rules, 1955.
Medical certificate must be issued by a government hospital.

Application Fee :
No application fee for any category.
Applications must be submitted only through NATS/NAPS portals.
Offline applications are not accepted.

Ineligibility Conditions (Do NOT Apply If) :
Have already done apprenticeship or are currently doing one.
Have 1 year or more work experience.
Passed qualification before June 2022.
Hold a higher qualification than required.
Studied outside UP or MP.
Used distance/part-time education.
Belong to OBC Creamy Layer.
Submit more than one application.

Common Mistakes to Avoid :
Not registering on NATS/NAPS before applying.
Entering incorrect marks or percentages.
Applying for multiple posts (leads to rejection).
Uploading unclear photo/signature.
Not keeping an active email and mobile number.
Rounding off marks (not allowed).
Forgetting to save/print application form.
