Eligibility Criteria :
Assistant Editor (English) :
Graduation with M.A. (English) / M.Phil.
3–4 years experience in editorial work: manuscript evaluation, commissioning, copyediting, proofreading.
Assistant Editor – Comics/Graphic/Coffee Table Books :
Graduation with M.A. (English) / M.Phil.
3–4 years experience in publishing with expertise in conceptualizing, visualizing, scripting, and editing comics, graphic, or pictorial books
Knowledge of art, graphics software, or related IT tools is an added advantage.
Editorial Assistant (English – Comics/Graphic/Coffee Table Books) :
Graduation with M.A. (English) / M.Phil.
1–2 years experience in editorial work, with exposure to comics, graphic, or pictorial books.
Art/graphics background preferred.
Editorial Assistant (Regional Languages) :
Graduation with Master’s degree in the specified language.
Minimum 1-year experience in publishing’s editorial department.
Skills: Translation, copyediting, proofreading, page design, DTP, Adobe PageMaker, InDesign.
Editorial Assistant (English) :
Graduation with Master’s degree in English.
Minimum 1-year experience in editorial work.
Skills: Translation, copyediting, proofreading, page design, DTP, Adobe PageMaker, InDesign.
Age Limit :
Assistant Editor (English & Comics/Graphic/Coffee Table Books): Maximum 40 years.
Editorial Assistant (English – Comics/Graphic/Coffee Table Books): Maximum 30 years.
Editorial Assistant (Regional Languages & English): Maximum 40 years.
Salary :
Assistant Editor (English) : 60,000 – 80,000.
Assistant Editor (Comics/Graphic/Coffee Table Books) : 60,000 – 80,000.
Editorial Assistant (English – Comics/Graphic/Coffee Table Books) : 40,000 – 50,000.
Editorial Assistant (Regional Languages) : 40,000 – 50,000.
Editorial Assistant (English) : 40,000 – 50,000.
