Eligibility Criteria :

Minimum Educational Qualifications, Experience, and Publications shall be as prescribed by the relevant regulatory bodies such as UGC Regulations 2018 / NCTE Regulations 2014 / AICTE Regulations / ICAR Guidelines, as amended from time to time.

Research Publications:
Candidates must have the minimum required number of research publications in Peer-Reviewed Journals or UGC-listed Journals as applicable for the respective post.

Salary / Stipend :
Professor Academic Level – 14.
Associate Professor Academic Level – 13A.
Assistant Professor Academic Level – 10.

General / OBC / EWS : ₹1000.
SC / ST : ₹500.
Persons with Disabilities (PWD) : Exempted.
Note: Application fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

General Information / Instructions :
The period of M.Phil. and Ph.D. will not be considered as teaching or research experience.
Candidates must upload scanned copies of original certificates and mark sheets from Matriculation (10th) onwards.
Educational qualifications, experience, and age will be considered as on the last date of application.
Separate application form and application fee must be submitted for each post applied.
In-service candidates must upload No Objection Certificate (NOC) and Vigilance Clearance Certificate. If not uploaded, they must submit them at the time of interview.
The University reserves the right to shortlist and restrict the number of candidates for interview.
Appointment against a Lien Vacancy may become permanent if the lien is vacated.
All documents will be verified. Submission of fake documents will lead to termination of service.
No interim correspondence will be entertained. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
Relaxation of 5% marks at Graduate and Master’s level will be given to SC/ST/Differently-abled/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates as per rules.
Candidates claiming reservation must submit valid category certificates.
EWS candidates must submit Income and Asset Certificate as per Government of India (DoPT) guidelines.
The University reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts.
Selection will be made based on the recommendations of the Selection Committee as per University/UGC norms.
Pay, Allowances, Leave, and Pension benefits will be as per UGC/Government of India rules. New entrants will be covered under the National Pension System (NPS).
Selected candidates must serve the University for a minimum period of three years after joining.
Equivalent percentage will be considered for candidates awarded grades instead of marks.

Any corrigendum/addendum will be published on the University website only.
Any dispute related to recruitment will be subject to the jurisdiction of Gauhati High Court, Kohima Bench.
