Eligibility Criteria :

Educational Qualification :
Stenographer Grade-III: PUC / 12th pass or equivalent + Senior Grade Typewriting & Shorthand (Kannada & English) OR Diploma in Commercial Practice (3 years).

Copyist: PUC / 12th pass or equivalent + Junior Grade Typewriting (Kannada & English)

Process Server & Peon: SSLC / 10th pass or equivalent.

Computer Knowledge: Basic computer operation is mandatory for all posts.

Age Limit (as on closing date) :
Minimum age: 18 years.
Maximum age:
General: 40 years.
Category 2A/2B/3A/3B: 43 years.
SC/ST/Category-1: 45 years.

Relaxation :
5 years one-time relaxation as per Government order (valid up to 31.12.2027).
Additional relaxation for Ex-servicemen, PwD, Widows, etc. as per rules.

Application Fee :
Fee varies depending on post and category.
Payment mode: Online (SBI Collect).
SC/ST/Category-1/PwD candidates: Exempted for most posts.

Pay Scale :
Stenographer Grade-III : ₹44,425 – ₹83,700.
Copyist : ₹34,100 – ₹67,600.
Process Server : ₹31,775 – ₹61,300.
Peon : ₹27,000 – ₹46,675.

Selection Process :
Selection will be conducted as per Karnataka Subordinate Courts Recruitment Rules ;
Stenographer & Copyist: Skill Test (Typing/Shorthand) + Computer Test + Interview.
Process Server & Peon: Merit based on SSLC marks + Interview.
Final selection includes document verification and probation period of 2 years under NPS.
