Definition of Work Experience :
Work experience will be considered valid only if it is gained through full-time, regular, paid employment in a role directly relevant to the applied post.
The following will not be treated as valid experience ;
Freelance, part-time, or contractual intermittent work.
Self-employment or entrepreneurial work.
Internship, articleship, academic projects, teaching, or research experience.
Trainee roles such as Management Trainee, Executive Trainee, or Graduate Trainee (except eligible PSU on-the-job training).
However, apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship Act will be counted as valid post-qualification experience.
All claimed experience must be supported by proper documentary evidence, and self-declared experience details will not be accepted.
Documentary Proof for Work Experience :
Candidates must submit valid and verifiable documents for all past and present employment.
For Previous Employment ;
Experience certificate clearly mentioning ;
Date of joining and relieving.
Job role and nature of duties.
Relevance to the applied position.
If no certificate is provided, that experience will not be considered.
For Current Employment ;
Experience certificate OR appointment/offer letter.
Last 3 months’ salary slips.
Identity proof of ongoing employment (if available).
Mandatory Requirement :
Aadhaar Card must be uploaded.
Any mismatch in Aadhaar details will lead to rejection of candidature.
Age Limit & Relaxation (Rewritten).
Upper Age Limit (General/EWS): 50 years (as on 23.03.2026).
Category-wise Relaxation :
OBC (NCL): 3 years.
SC/ST: 5 years.
PwD (General): 10 years.
PwD (OBC): 13 years.
PwD (SC/ST): 15 years.
J&K domicile candidates (1980–1989): 5 years.
Ex-servicemen: As per Government of India rules.

Selection Process :
Selection will be carried out through Walk-in Interview mode, followed by verification and medical fitness.
Process Includes :
Online application submission (27.04.2026 – 11.05.2026).
Notification of interview schedule on MECON website.
Document verification at venue.
Personal interview.
Medical examination (before joining).
Final merit list publication on official website.
Travelling Allowance :
Eligible outstation candidates attending the interview will be reimbursed TA as per rules ;
3rd AC / Chair Car rail fare OR ₹7 per km by road (whichever is lower)
Only standard rail fare allowed (no Tatkal/premium fares)
Original tickets/receipts are mandatory for reimbursement
Place of Posting (Rewritten)
Initial posting will be at various project locations across India, including ;
Rajasthan (Rampura Agucha Mines / Debari).
Karnataka (Bangalore).
Chhattisgarh (Bacheli).
Jharkhand (Ranchi).
Madhya Pradesh (Malanjkhand).
West Bengal (Burnpur).
However, candidates may be posted anywhere in India based on organizational requirements.
