Educational Qualification & Experience :
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with Hindi and English as elective subjects. In addition, candidates should have at least two years of professional experience in translation work, handling translations from English to Hindi and vice versa.
Age Criteria (as on 01-02-2026) :
Upper Age Limit: 30 years.
Relaxation in upper age limit:
SC/ST: 5 years.
Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 years.
Ex-Servicemen: As per length of service in Defence Forces.
Existing employees of Major Port Authorities: Up to 55 years.
Nationality Requirements
The applicant must be:
A citizen of India, or
A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or
A Tibetan refugee who migrated before 01-01-1962 with the intention of permanent settlement, or
A person of Indian origin from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or specified East African countries intending permanent settlement in India.
Application Fee :
General/UR: ₹500.
SC/ST: Exempted.
PwBD: Exempted.
Pay & Allowances :
Basic Pay: ₹41,800 (Pay Scale: ₹41,800 – ₹1,17,600).
Approximate Monthly Emoluments: ₹48,000.
HRA: Payable if not residing in official quarters.
Additional allowances as per applicable rules.
